Born and raised in Baltimore, Shawna loves celebrating the special moments in life.  Seeing a bride and groom turn to walk down the aisle as husband and wife being cheered by their closest family and friends brings an all-is-right-with-the-world smile to her face. Shawna has worked closely with a local mobile caterer on events from small dinner parties to weddings. Shawna will bring attention to detail, organization, and creativity to your celebration.

Shawna works in the hospitality industry for a leading global lodging company. Her family owns a bread bakery and specialty food store in Catonsville, MD where she can often be found with her parents discussing their next business venture, chowing down on a fresh ciabata roll or tasting wine from family-owned and small vineyards across the globe. She enjoys traveling, working out and spending time outside near the water with her husband and pup.

Jess Velky, Event Planner

Jess is a Baltimore native with years of experience styling and producing events. She has decorated and coordinated numerous Baltimore events with MakeTribe, an award-winning event and interior design collective. She has a creative eye and has worked to style events of varying sizes. She is cool under pressure and loves to multi-task and bring people together around a vision. Her production experience ranges from intimate workshops to unforgettable wedding celebrations.

Jess works at a Baltimore ad agency and can be found instructing yoga in her free time. She loves good style, food, and her dog. She lives in Baltimore and is passionate about giving back to the city she loves. Jess will bring patience, drive, and joy to your wedding experience.
